1) INTRODUCTION
* 1.1 - Members are required to make 1 post in Member Area to introduce themselves to all members.
2) GENERAL POSTING RULES
* 2.1 - No Trolling: Please do not post any topic that disrupts this board. Don't make non-intelligible threads with the sole purpose of starting a dispute or argument. This includes messages in profiles. Advertising, spamming and trolling is not allowed.
* 2.2 - No Flaming: Please do not post any messages that harass, insult, threaten or flame another user.
* 2.3 - No Spamming: Please do not double post or cross-post the same message in multiple forums. Do not mass-PM or mass-email multiple members of this site with the same message.
* 2.4 - No Offensive Posts, Links or Images: We do not allow posts in general forums that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, racist, sexist, discriminatory, or otherwise in violation of any laws or violate COA community standards. The COA team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards. This includes your profile, bookmarks as well as posted images, photos and avatars.
* 2.5 - Link Validation: Ensure that all links posted are working. Report all broken links to Global Moderator.
* 2.6 - No Live Links: No off site live links are allowed.
* 2.7 - No Hot Links: Hot linking images from developer's/distributor's site is not allowed. Use an image host like pichub etc.
* 2.8 - Forum Accounts: Each member is allowed one login account only. For registration purposes an ISP email account is required.
* 2.9 - Always do a search before posting to ensure that your subject has not been posted before.
* 2.10 - We reserve the right to edit or remove any post in violation of these rules or COA community standards.
3) PRIVACY
* 3.1 - Right to Privacy: You shall not violate a person's privacy by publishing information that is private and personal, either about a member, or any other person, without that person's consent.
4) ADVERTISING
* 4.1 - We do not allow people to post threads, send private messages, email users here that advertise or solicit any products or services unless specifically requested by the involved party.
* 4.2 - You should never give out your COA username or password to anyone.
* 4.3 - You should not disclose server logins and/or passwords to anyone.
5) AVATARS
* 5.1 - The maximum size of your custom Avatar image is 90x90 pixels or 10 KB (whichever is smaller).
* 5.2 - A promotional text and/or advertisement for any warez site accept an affiliate of LinkPalace is not allowed.
7) USERNAMES
* 7.1 - A promotional text and/or advertisement for any site accept an affiliate of COA is not allowed,
8) PRIVATE MESSAGING
* 8.1 - Please use the forum resources to find the answers to your questions where possible. Do not private message or e-mail staff for an answer to a question that can be found in the forum. Private Messaging (PM) is traditionally for off topic talk between known members. Using Private Messaging to spam, advertise, or solicit other members in any way whatsoever will not be tolerated.
9) TERRORISM
* 9.1 - Any member that promotes terrorism in text, advertisement, links in posts, avatars, signatures, by email and private messaging will be banned immediately.
10) VALIDATION
* 10.1 - Validation of accounts by Internet Service Providers eMail address only.
11) ENFORCEMENT
* 11.1 - Global Moderator (s) control all sections as they see fit, including the interpreting of these rules, as they feel appropriate in different situations. Because the exact wording may not appear here it does not mean its acceptable. If a Global Moderator (s) deems any content unacceptable for the board then members can assume that its in the rules, and if it's not in the rules consider it part of 11.3, 11.4 & 11.5.
* 11.2 - Public dispute over Global Moderator (s) decisions will not get a decision overturned. If you feel that one of our moderators has acted inappropriately please Private Message or email Administration with a full explanation of the inappropriate behavior and or actions.
* 11.3 - No knowing a rule cannot be used as an excuse to breach a rule. All members should check the rules regularly.
* 11.4 - We reserve the right to edit, change, or amend these rules at any time without notice.
* 11.5 - We reserve the right to edit or remove any post in violation of these rules or COA community standards.
